CTET February 2026 : Eligibility Details

CTET Exam Level CTET 2026 Eligibility*
CTET Primary Level Class 1 to 5
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
  • Bachelor Degree Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) (a) who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two year of such appointment as primary teacher OR
  • Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
CTET Junior Level (Class 6 to 8)
  • Graduation Degree and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
  • At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Norms OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education)
  • Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET. OR
  • Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.




How to Fill CTET February 2026 Online Form

  • CTET Online Form 2025 Notification Released and Candidate Apply within Last Date.
  • Candidate Read CTET Notification 2025 very carefully before Apply the Online Form Application Form.
  • While applying, the candidate will have to fill all the columns carefully so that no mistake can be made like – Name of the candidate, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Date of birth, Address, Qualification details.
  • If upload is asked in the application form, then upload all the documents in the correct size and correct format, be it PDF or JPEG.
  • Before submitting the form, re-check all the columns and documents and submit only if everything is correct.
  • After submitting the form of CTET Online Form 2025, take a print of it or save it in PDF.
