UPSC is the central agency that recruits staff members and officers for various central government services. To appear in the UPSC Civil Services exam, the applicant must be a graduate or equivalent from a university that is incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India. The applicant can also be a graduate from an educational institution established by an Act of Parliament. There are three rounds in the IAS exam or Civil Services exam – CSAT or Preliminary, Mains, and Interview.
